Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These terms cover your use of the Moneymoo app. Questions? Email support@moneymoo.uk.

This is a plain-language policy for a small, independent app. It is provided as a starting point and is not legal advice.

What Moneymoo is

Moneymoo is a personal budgeting tool. You tell it your income and bills; it works out a plan — how much to save, set aside, and what's left to spend — and helps you track spending against that plan. Moneymoo does not connect to your bank accounts, does not hold or move your money, and is not a bank, payment service, or regulated financial institution.

Not financial advice

Moneymoo offers general budgeting guidance based on the numbers you enter. It is not professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and shouldn't be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified, regulated professional — especially if you're dealing with serious debt or financial hardship. Where the app suggests seeking outside help, that's a genuine recommendation, not a formality.

Your account

Acceptable use

Don't use Moneymoo to break the law, interfere with the app's operation, attempt to access other users' data, or reverse-engineer the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the service.

Subscriptions and billing

Moneymoo is currently free to use. A paid "Plus" tier may be introduced in the future; if so, pricing and terms will be presented clearly before any purchase, and standard App Store billing and refund terms will apply.

AI features

Some features (expense parsing, receipt scanning, coaching messages) use AI to process what you enter. AI-generated categorizations, messages, and suggestions may occasionally be inaccurate — review what's logged and use your own judgment, especially for anything important.

No warranty

Moneymoo is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to your specific situation. You're responsible for your own financial decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Moneymoo and its developer aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including financial decisions made based on information in the app.

Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.
